This piece is an illustration based on the punk subculture. It makes use of lighting to help bring more attention to the figure in the piece. The use of a pinky purple light helps to create and add to the intended time period of the 80’s. Alongside it are some examples of my process for my illustrations. I began the painting process by blocking in the base colors and shapes. From there I render, and adjust the shapes until I get the desired result.
